This semester I'm going to try to go in a bit of a different direction. I will be using parts of my previous works to create closer up, more abstract images. I'm really focusing on my concept this semester, since I will be writing a thesis soon....
I'm still going to be sewing after the pieces are printed, and I haven't decided if I will be printing onto canvas paper or doing transfers onto canvas. (I like different aspects of both) If anyone has any preferences let me know your opinion :) I will also be experimenting with different sizes for my images... I'm thinking more along the lines of longer rectangles..
It's great to see that you are going to create closer up of your images. Not that they were not good before but its always nice to take a look at something in a different view. I also like the idea of the longer rectangles. Panorama are always fun to work with.
